Okay, so last night I was in a foul mood.  I had cramps, my taxes still aren't done, latch on my car breaks.  Really, really bad mood.

Then my longtime student and good friend Carol did this move and I was in heaven. 

My pole studio is where my mental therapy happens.  I can escape my bad day and fly to my happy place.  Haha, but it's true.  Not only was I  transformed watching my students work on their tricks, but I accomplished a trick that's been eluding me lately. 

Thanks to Tami, Emily and Carol for bringing me back to my happy place last night.  My Polefessional crew is nothing short of my second family and I love them so much.

Sunday Sunday Sunday!!!

Hey kids, I have good news and bad news.

The bad news is that the 3pm Sunday Vixen I class is officially sold out now.  The good news is there's still room in the Noon Sunday Vixen I class so get your registration in now.

Speaking of this Sunday, there are two chances for you to try the Vixen Program by taking either the 10am or 2pm Introductory Class.  Both will be held at Hype Studios, 1200 PCH, Hermosa Beach, 90254.  The cost for either is $25.  Class begins ON TIME and latecomers must be turned away so get there 10 minutes early for paperwork and such.  That's just for this Sunday, February 17 at Hype Studios.

Rock Star Tour Bus Trip!

Okay ladies, strap on your high heels and get ready to rock.  We're renting a 30 foot rock star bus with a dance floor and stripper pole inside and taking you to the best strip clubs in LA.  The bus will be stocked with alcohol and food and we'll be giving lessons IN THE BUS all throughout the night.  Your admissions into the clubs will be included plus we'll be doing raffle drawings all night.  You can win t-shirts, stripper shoes and even free studio classes!

Amazing Photo Shoot Last Night!

Last night was so incredible!  We held our Valentine's Day Pole Portrait session at the Secret Desires store in Santa Monica and I was floored by the shots we got.  All the models were current students from my studio and were, for the most part, having their pictures taken to give as Valentine's Day gifts.  Our photographer, Jody Domingue (you should all get to know her name real quick!) made magic with her camera and sense of style.   All these different women of vastly different ages, body types and levels of shyness came alive under her laid back direction and looked freaking amazing.  I was able to see the raw shots on the digital camera after each session and I guarantee that these women have never looked so sensual, primal and strong as they did last night.

We turned the back room at Secret Desires into our own photo studio and spent the night cheering for the girls, dancing to the booming music and eating french fries and onion rings...yum!!  Tami and Emily did an incredible job of transforming the store room into a cozy den of iniquity.

I can't wait until the next shoot.   Jody has great ideas for the next session and I really recommend you buy a spot with her.  I'm just pissed I worked the whole time and didn't take advantage of it too!!

Interviewing Professionals

Day after Christmas and already I'm hitting the ground running for 2007!  One of our new additions to the family  is the introduction of dancer profiles.  So many men and women are interested in their favorite dancers in the clubs so we're going to start introducing them to you.   We'll be profiling the innovators in this artform, learning about their backgrounds and where they got their training.  Having trained so many dancers, it time you discovered what I already know - they're smart, driven and creative.  Check back often to see their stories and pictures.

Last class of 2006

This week we finish up the last pole classes of 2006.  It's been an amazing year for Heart & Pole; we've taught over 800 women, added more beginner classes and created the Polefessionals class for on-going students.  We've been featured on CBS and in Senior Life.  More and more people are telling their friends about the amazing journey they experience in our classes and about the fun they have.  2007 promises to be full of even more growth and success.  Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.
